This policy explains what personal information Benton Paper Company collects through bentonpaperco.com, why it is collected, who it is shared with, and the choices you have.

What we collect
When you submit the inquiry form on our contact page, you give us your name, email address, and whatever project details you choose to include. That form is provided by HoneyBook, which receives your submission and passes it along to us.
The site also records basic technical information automatically: your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you view, and the date and time of your visit. This comes from our web host’s server logs and from a HoneyBook tracking pixel on the contact page.
That is everything. We do not take payments through this site, there are no accounts or logins, and we collect nothing else.
How we use it and who sees it
We use your inquiry to reply to you and to talk through a possible project. If we end up working together, we keep the correspondence as a record of that work. We use the technical information to keep the site running and secure.
We do not sell your information, we do not share it for advertising, and we do not send marketing email unless you have asked for it.
Two companies handle your information on our behalf:
- HoneyBook receives and stores inquiry form submissions.
- GoDaddy hosts the site and keeps server logs.
We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect our rights or someone’s safety.
Cookies
Our site uses cookies, which are small files your browser stores. The WordPress and Elementor software that runs the site sets the ones needed to display pages properly. The HoneyBook pixel on our contact page sets its own.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, though doing so may break parts of the site.
If we add analytics, advertising pixels, or similar tools later, we will update this page.
Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live, you can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. You can also tell us not to sell or share it, though we do not do either. We will not treat you differently for asking.
To make a request, email [CONTACT EMAIL] with “Privacy” in the subject line. We will respond within 45 days. We may need to confirm your identity first, usually by checking details you have already given us.
If we turn down a request, you can ask us to reconsider. Texas residents may then contact the Office of the Texas Attorney General, and residents of other states may contact their own attorney general.
Security, retention, and changes
We take reasonable steps to protect your information and rely on established providers, but no website is perfectly secure.
We keep inquiries for as long as we may need them to respond or to document a working relationship, and delete them when they are no longer useful.

bentonpaperco.com is run by Benton Paper Company, a Texas sole proprietorship. Using the site means you agree to what is on this page. If you do not, please do not use it.
You need to be 18 or older to send us anything through the site.
If you hire us, the proposal or contract you sign governs that project. Where it conflicts with this page, the signed agreement wins.
Our work belongs to us
Everything on this site — designs, photographs, illustrations, layouts, writing, and the Benton Paper Co name and logo — is ours or used with permission. Viewing it gives you no rights to it.
You may not copy, republish, or reuse our work, or use it to train AI systems, without written permission. You may not scrape the site or harvest contact information from it. You are welcome to share a link, and to print a page for your own reference.
Portfolio projects were made for clients. Their names and logos belong to them and appear here to identify the work.
If you believe something here infringes your copyright, email marykendall@bentonpaperco.com and tell us what and where. We will look into it.
What the site is, and what it is not
Descriptions of services and past projects are here for information. They are not an offer, and they do not lock in a price, a date, or a turnaround time.
Sending the inquiry form starts a conversation. Nothing is booked and no date is held until a proposal is signed and any deposit is paid.
If you send us text, photos, logos, or fonts for a project, you are telling us you have the right to use them and to let us use them.
Limits on our liability
The site is provided as is. We do not promise it will always work, always be available, or always be accurate, and we disclaim implied warranties to the fullest extent the law allows.
We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for lost profits or lost data, arising from your use of the site. Our total liability for any claim about the site is capped at $100 .
Some states do not allow every one of these limits, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
If your use of the site or your breach of these terms causes a claim against us, you agree to cover the resulting costs and reasonable attorneys’ fees.
The fine print
Other sites. We link out to and load services from HoneyBook, Substack, Instagram, LinkedIn, and Pinterest. What happens there is governed by their terms, not ours.
Privacy. How we handle personal information is described in our Privacy Policy, which is part of these terms.
Texas law. These terms are governed by the laws of Texas, and any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts in Texas.
Talk to us first. Before filing anything, email marykendall@bendonpaperco.com and give us 30 days. Most things get solved with a conversation.
Odds and ends. If part of these terms turns out to be unenforceable, the rest still stands. Not enforcing something once does not waive it. These terms and the Privacy Policy are the entire agreement between us about the site. We may revise them, and the date at the top will change when we do.
